When do Turkish courses start?

Beginner level Turkish courses start in October. Intermediate Turkish courses start in February.

A beginner language course can be opened again in February.

Can I register remotely or from abroad?

No, we do not receive registrations remotely or from abroad. The course requires an in-person application to the school.

Do you provide invitation or acceptance letters?

No, we do not provide invitation or acceptance letters to those who want to come from abroad. We do not assist with visa or residence permit procedures for Türkiye.

How much are the course fees?

Course fees change every year. We announce it on our website. Please click here.

What are the documents required for the registration process?

Required documents for registration are signed application form, photocopy of ID or passport, two passport photos, and bank receipt. You must come to the school in person.

How can I get a trainee certificate?

You can request your trainee certificate from our office when your registration is completed. It may take several days for the document to be prepared.

Is the visa extended or residence permit obtained with the trainee certificate?

The trainee certificate does not guarantee you visa extension or residence permit.

Can I get a refund?

No, your deposit is non-refundable.

What is the weekly lesson schedule?

If there is no compulsory change, the typical weekly schedule is between 10:00 and 15:00 on Mondays and Tuesdays, and between 10:00 and 13:00 on Wednesdays and Thursdays.

Is there distance or online training?

No, we do not give distance or online language training.

Which textbooks are used?

Currently, “Yeni Istanbul” Turkish language sets are used. Before any purchese, you can ask our office if there is any change regarding the resource books.

Do you give out textbooks for free?

No, you can buy textbooks from bookstores or online.

Can I start a course at any level?

Those who do not attend our beginner-level language courses cannot attend intermediate-level courses.

Is there any obligation to attend classes?

Regular attendance at classes is essential for your language learning.

Is accommodation available to trainees?

No, the trainees organize the accommodation themselves.

CERTIFICATE EXAMS

Do you provide Turkish language certificate?

Yes. We provide B1, B2, and C1 level Turkish language certificates.

Is the Turkish language certificate you issued valid everywhere?

The Turkish language certificate you receive from Yalova University is valid in other universities in Türkiye.

Where can I find my certification exam results?

You can find out your exam results and certificate status by sending an e-mail to tomer@yalova.edu.tr with your name and surname.

Where can I get the language certificate?

You can get your language certificate from our office or by e-mail upon request.

Do language certificates hold a signature or seal?

No, all our documents are electronically signed.

What should I do to become an international student at Yalova University?

As an international student, is it compulsory to study Turkish preparatory class at Yalova University?

No, you can get your Turkish language education in a different institution but we would like to see you at Yalova University TÖMER so you can adapt Yalova city and our University much easily 😊
