Turkish Proficiency Exam determines the reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills in Turkish as a foreign language.
Exam duration is approximatetly three hours and candidates take separate tests for each language skill.
Upon the exam score, candidates are awarded with Certificate of Achievement in accordance with the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).
The levels are as follows (out of 100), provided that each one of the fours skills does not fall below 10 points:
85 points and above: C1
Between 70 and 84: B2
Between 60 and 69: B1
